Training for Youth Persons on Youth and Gender Based Budget
BITA-Action for Impact project arranged a training on “Youth and Gender based budget” at the BRAC Learning Center in Chittagong. 24 youth persons from BITA working area 9 and 29 no ward attended in the training. Bappa Chowdhury, project coordinator and Kanta Mallik, Program Officer of BITA LRP-41 project discussed about the youth based budget. The youth personnel also express their opinion about the youth based budget. The content of the training were what is budget, types of budget, how the budget can be youth based and what is the input tracking. Participants make an action plan for implement the work in their own area. They were trying to understand about the budget.

Knowledge Fair on Reproductive Health
A knowledge organized by BITA-EWASC project on 22 July/2019 in the Shishu academy, Chattogram by the help of Action aid Bangladesh. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Tayeb Ali, deputy Civil Surgeon, Chattogram, and the special Guest were Nargis Sultana, director, Shishu Academy, Chattogram, Md. Rezaul Karim, Clinic Manager, MAMATA and Md Muhin Uddin, Deputy District manager, BRAC. 150 youth member 70 of BITA youth Group whereas 70 male and 80 female attended in the Fair. Number of people were also watched the fair. Mr Bappa Chowdhury briefed about the EWASC project of BITA in his opening speach. Mr A H M Hossain Monsur presided over the discussion meeting. Dr. Tayeb Ali said in his speech that Gov‟t established one Community Clinic for every 6000 people, there are health assistant present in every clinic who disseminate the information of Reproductive Health. Anybody can also know any information of reproductive health from Civil surgeon office or Upazila Health Complex. He said hygiene is essential for reproductive health, otherwise productive power can be decrease for infection. Normally the productive time is 15 to 45 years, by this time every youth women should know the sexual transmitted disease. He hope for a training on reproductive health for the youth group of BITA in the Civil Surgeon office. One of the representative from every service providers organization discussed about their service and time, place of service. Dr. Tayeb Ali participated in a dialogue after discussion meeting. BITA youth group member asked him question and he answered on reproductive health. In the fair 5 stall placed where health providers showed their materials and gave information about reproductive health. Dr. Tayeb Ali visited all the stall and talked with service providers. In the stall of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society provided Blood Group identification, Blood pressure checking, weight measuring in their stall. In the ending of the program BITA youth group played a drama on reproductive health.

Dialogue with Panel Mayor on Gender Responsive Budget
Adialogue organized by A4I of BITA-EWASCproject on Gender responsive budget in the Local Gov‟t yearly budget at Asian sr Hotel in Chattogram on 08.08.2019. Chattogram City Corporation Panel Mayor Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud Hasni was the Chief Guest of the program. The reporter of Chattogram Protidin Mr Mohammad Ali and BITA EWASC project manager waere present in the dialogue. In the program BITA youth group members asked the Panel Mayor for gender responsive budget in the city corporation yearly budget. They demanded budget in the technical education, health, entrepreneurship etc. Panel Mayor said it is impossible for this year because the budget of this year already declared but we will try estimate gender responsive in the next year budget. He also said this year we can try to give budget from miscellaneous if youth take any initiative. He said now the country is going forward by the participation of youth. How the youth power transferred to positive power for development, it is very essential for now a day. Present and future generation will develop by the youth. He welcomed BITA and Action Aid for thinking about the youth development.

International Women’s day 2020
BITA participated in the International Women’s day observation program. Human chain arranged by the Women affairs office of Chattogram. BITA staffs participated in the program. Many other NGO’s attended in the program. BITA youth group members and officers were attended in the program.
