BITA has implemented “Y-Moves project at Baharchara union of Teknaf Upazila  from 2020 by the support of Plan International Bangladesh, to the objective of  Contributes to building a dynamic and inclusive civil society aimed at advancing the participation, protection and rights of the girl child sexual reproductive health by the functioning of local NCTF. Through NCTF activities and trainings, 467 children and youth (248 female, 219 male) gained knowledge on SRHR, SGBV, and child protection. They collected data on issues like child marriage and abuse, developed action plans, and collaborated with CSOs. Their efforts improved access to healthcare, clean water, and safer infrastructure. Community events involved 793 participants, while intergenerational dialogues engaged 824 people, including parents, religious leaders, and officials. These actions led to increased healthcare access for 58+ adolescents, new helpline numbers, and stronger service accountability. Youth and parents now actively prevent child marriage, report abuse, and promote child rights.
